Its great to be different thats what the scooterscene has given us thats why we still do it, we all want to have the best looking scooter and get people to look at it and talk about it and if we are lucky enough you get in the magazine (prob the highlight if you get in a mag knowing loads of people are looking at your bike) Cool

I agree with comment nice to see a load old DTC specials lined up, i had a Armandos and it was great to park up a the Armandos stall with other bikes and everyone looking at yours BUT it came at a price...was we showing off we had loads of money when we were young ???????? don't know looking back on it, but if you wanted a shop custom you had to pay for it.
then if you didnt go down the complete mural show bike engraving etc.etc we started getting into the themed look Pepsi, Kouros, Juicy Fruit, Twix etc etc in fact any decent logo that could look good on your bike ..everyone always trying to think of what would work and look good ...

so we get to this argument now..Phil had his bike ages one of the first to be Customised,... someone else also thinks of somthing around same thing will it work...well yes prob come out well ..but dont you want that somthing extra or do you want someone to say ohh look another Smirnoff bike like the other one Shocked

i dont know may be you do and if so good luck with it.

I was going to do a Adidas one until i saw one already done different to what i was thinking but as soon as i saw it that was it time to think of something else Razz

Its good to talk (as they say) thats what the forums for and its great to have different opinons just ...Play nicely Laughing

well my claim to fame is in scootering edition 211 jan 2004...........the man from del monty.try copying that one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i knew how to post a picture i would Embarassed

so you have seen my adidas lammy, now called intomygreen, but will be chrome n stainlees with an af 250 innit. then my custom sprayed ss90. but i carnt do a smirnoff black.
well what about y vega what can i do that?????????????????/

have you seen phil from yorks gt got carbon all over it on the lower side panels headset covers toolbox tops other bits all covered.

thats where phil works his boss rang the other asking to have a tour of he factory and see what the prices are they can coat nearly any thing, carbon, wood effect, steel, loads of stuff.
