My exhaust is blowing more than a cheap hooker on dockers payday.
It is blowing from the joint, I think it's supposed to have a sleevey type gasket thing in there but thats totally awol. I think my 125 is the same exhaust as the 200/250, it has the hole for the sensor anyways. Where can I get hold of one of these gasket/jointing things really quickly? (like tomorrow....). Cheers Very Happy Sad Smile

Yep same here, mine crumbled on the way to Burntwood, {where I was pleased to meet half the renegades on here}, local dealers had one next day, and no charge! but I have had some issues with them, and kept asking about the 300 they had in the window, but I beleive the gasket can be quite expensive Rolling Eyes

my exhaust is blowing too,but it's not the gasket!!
i decided to get my wheels off to get them powder coated, when it came to taking the pipe off the manifold stub just fell apart! i know it seems to be a common problem, but it didn't sound like it was blowing, and it was still running fine!! Cheeky me old mate!! have you got any new ones in stock, and can i get one under warranty ?? if not how much are they??

Jesus that's mental!

Would it be a good idea to paint the pipe with high temperature paint to prevent corrossion? I will eventually put a shinny new exhaust on but pennies a bit tight, been off work since Jan half pay stops this month Crying or Very sad Shit can't buy anymore toys

i dont think it's caused by corrosion, but stress... Mad ..they seem to go where the lambda sensor screws in.....piaggio really should get this sorted,as i said i think this is a common fault!! Rolling Eyes
but not to worry it's being delt with by cheeky thomas, under warranty..nice one Tom.. Smile

You wont get the gasket under warranty, its a service part since the recall and must be changed everytime the pipe is removed, so wont ever fail inbetween...

...you can buy the gasket alone its about £7+vat
