I have now completed the first 1000k and its booked in for the first service. I have not ridden the 250 so can not give comparisons. My previous scooter was an X9500 and as such no comparisons can be drawn. My first impressions of the 300 was the handling which strait from the box was spot on with no ajustment needed, then the torque and with the engine still tight flying up the road with just a whiff of throttle . Now its effectivly run in, it is very very quick for a three hundred and very flickable. Fuel consumption is about 67mpg and the handling is not at all upset by a loaded top box as some have stated (perhaps they carry bricks) . My helmets are all too large to fit under the saddle but I do have a large head!. All in all its an absolute hoot to ride and value for money? 8 out of 10 ,charging extra for a back rack is a bit much as the premium for the larger engine is paid at the outset and it must coast no more than a 250 to build. Overall I am happy with it. _________________ Vespa 300 super BSA Bantam, pushbike |

Regarding the fuel consumption of the GTS 300 , mentioned by darklord, It should be nearer 80 mpg. |

Fuel consumption all depends how you ride the thing... 67 is more than possible if ridden hard. |
