Hi all,
Mick here currently living in France, have been looking at GTS 300 as an alternative to PX/Rally/Lambrettas for long distance rallying for some time now.
I got interested when the 250 came out and am seriously thinking of getting a 300 (this weekend!!), was at my local Piaggio shop yesterday 3 GTS 300s in Black, White, Red sitting there waiting for new owners.

I'm going back tomorrow to try a 250 out and eventually try and negotiate a bit of a deal from them (scooter shops here don't cater for scooterists, so I'm used to doing my own spanner work et, felt a bit weird having the bloke talk the bike up as if I was a first timer Sad

)

Anyway may have a lot of questions over the coming days/weeks such as regular servicing intervals and estimated cost of servicing, reliability etc.

I'm following the threads about the PM pipe for the 300 as its what I'd like to fit along with bitubo gas shocks and a smoked flyscreen (white scooter!!).

Anyway feels like I'm about to join the 21st century so be easy on me Very Happy

Thanks all for the welcome.
I've been over the site and its a goldmine of information, the user's manual and maintenance manual have answered most of the questions I had about servicing etc.
I'll let you know how I get on over the next couple of days.

Hi Johnny im jealous dont get my 300 till 2nd week oct ive ordered black ! but we didnt have the choice of red in uk, read cheekys link in maintainence about pipes < he was kind enough to give some advice !
