Hello m8

It is so hard to recommend dealers some have good experience some have bad with the same dealer.......

Personally I think MSC are the worst......

I only use Ron Dalleys In Barnsley but you can bet your life someone on here will of had a bad experience here....

Yeah, MSC is not a well thought of dealer on here, but coming from bit further up the M6 I don't know of any alternatives in the Midlands. There are a few on this site from round that way so you should get some good advice. Cool

Smile Hello , I have the three hundred and apart from a bit more acceleration and some cosmetics is the same as the 250 or so I am told. The 250 has to be better financially as you get the rack as standard and a bike that's much the same for much less! from what I can see you save about 300 pounds so its a no brainer --250 it is Very Happy

I have had a 250 & now have a 300. Personally, I prefer the 300 as it's a bit quicker away from the lights than the 250, but like Gav says, there are some bargains to be had on used 250s. If I was buying new, I would still go for the 300 though. Dealerwise, my preference is Readspeed. Cool

not directed at anyone, just my opinion........

i think it's early days to judge the 300 against the 250 for top end speed just yet, none of the 300's have got the mileage on them yet to see the engine loosen up properly, these 4 strokes get better with some good mileage on them, going past the running in period isn't like "flicking a magic switch" releasing previously hidden power, my 250 has now got 16,000miles on it and it absolutely flies once it's nice and warm, which is another thing to get the best out of them the engine needs to be warmed up, not just the cooling system with the gauge reading warm but the whole engine, oil, crankcases etc and to do this i reckon is at least 30mins of riding.......... my scoot goes much faster once i've done the 40miles from my house to the M11.

my point is that jumping off a 250 with 10,000miles on it and onto a brand new 300 and complaining that "it's slow" isn't really fair Wink

The 300 is slightly taller than the 250... mainly due to the rear shocks being a tad longer Wink

Never measured the length of the 2 machines though...

Hi

I have the GTS 300 and love it. I stay in Scotland and there are not much dealers up here. Herd some bad reports about MSC. Herd good reports from Ron Daley, so ordered from them. Pleasure to deal with.

Ordered on line, delived to my door in Scotland for only a fiver! They deliver all new bikes with there own van with one of the guy's from the shop. Demonstration how to use it as I was auto virgin. Does not get better than that. After sales has been spot on so far. Would defo use them again
