You can't really compere the gts range with the px, they're very different animals.

i have a PX200E now stuck in my garage as well as my GTS 300 super
since getting the 300 ive not had the px out or wanted to, the only thing i miss is the trad riders have snubbed me a bit , dont know why ? im still the same guy , my px was as fast as Phuk , looked good, and was reliable
but couldent compare to the sheer thrill of my modern day scoot .

Hello John and welcome to the forum. Not sure about holding it's value and how it compares in looks, but I too have a PX200E thats barely seen the light of day since I got my GTS250. I plan to sell my PX ornament asap but would not part with the GTS.

Hi & welcome Cool

Those off us who have been riding autos for a few years are used to being snubbed by the trad riders. It is not as bad now as it used to be Rolling Eyes
Don't worry, you will have the last laugh as you blast past them on the way to a rally Twisted Evil

I still have my PX, I will be keeping it too as I like the contrast between the two scoots. The one thing missing from the GT range is the 2 stroke noise, that I love Very Happy Still use my PX loads.
As for vlaues, well the 200s and 250s dont hold their value like the PX so cant see the 300 being much different.

Hello John and welcome, I'm currently waiting for my GTS 300 (I'm picking it up on Nov. 8th). Its funny but I'm really looking forward to it like if it was my first scooter!!
I've got 5 Lambrettas (2 x GPs, SX, TV, JET..) and three Vespas (2 x Rally 200s and a PX200), I won't be selling any... I just see the GTS as the natural progression for rally going scooterists. I'm sure plenty of you here remember the debates about the T5 when it came out, if some people are narrow minded, well that's theit problem!!

I rode my PX200 to a rally in Barcelona three weeks ago (I live in the south of France) and really enjoyed riding over the Pyrénées, the way I see it the GTS opens the possibility to travel further afield past the 400 mile (one way) mark (where I draw a line when it comes to riding for a weekend).
I imagine five years down the line most of the detractors will be riding GTS' themselves !!

Mick
