has anyone done this? I know some coaters don't like to attempt if the item is already chromed.

I've had my chrome passenger footpegs and grab rail powder coated I like the results Cool

The mirrors would be a real pain to do though, what colour do you want them? If it's black then a pair of mirrors for a Piaggio liberty are essentially black GTS mirrors.

Hope this helps..

Doug, try Elite Engineering and Powder Coaters, Heysham Rd, off Dunnings Bridge Rd, in Netherton, Liverpool. Heysham Rd. is off Dunnings Bridge Rd., between Switch Island and Copy Lane. Go down Heysham Rd. til you see some yellow railings on your right. Elite are just inside those railings. Tell them that Geoff (me !) and the other lads from Liverpool Scooter Club recommended them. There's only 3 people who work there, John (the owner), his brother Jay, and another bloke. They are all vintage bike enthusiasts, and we've all had work done by them. The work is good quality and the price is reasonable. They can be a bit slow at times though.

Thanks Jetex, think I may be sorted for the couple of parts I want done - but will bear it in mind for the future. Very Happy

So you will probably know Jeff Thornley, Glen Jackson, John Linski & Garry Haseldine from Liverpool.
I was looking at buying Glen's GTS, but in the end bought Jeff's .....
