Why not trying hand covers by Bagster or Tucano Urbano.
Follow this link for neoprene model adapted to scooters with bar ends , easily removable and not pricey ( about 30€ ) or an other model wich is more "technic" at about 70€.

Those ones are not too bad against rain and for temperature around 0°C as your fingers are warming themselves.
Maybe not the best pair against injury but...

I had a pair of Belstaffs for the last few years which were good, but a little bulky. I've just replaced them with a pair of these which seem excellent value for money
