Yep, did mine the other week. It wasn't too bad really, I stripped the whole scoot in less than 2 hours. It all came apart quite easily, hopefully it'll go back together as easy over Christmas!!

Hi Tom Can you please tell me how much is the trim for the legshield and can you just get one side. I may as well replace this when doing the job..
It is the side as you look at the scooter from the front it is on the left. _________________

Agree, pretty simple really. (in hindsight)
Had to do it to my GT, followed the instructions in the manaul I got (from motorsport scooters - Yank shop, good on freedom of information, excellent on customer service).
Manual told me to remove headset front and back, after dropping a screw a couple of times though and having to go back to square one I found you don't need to. (Note to all - I ain't the greatest spanner monkey on the planet - i had to go through it after fitting the PM, melting the coolant hose and needing to replace it!!!)
2 things to bear in mind:
1. If you do decide you want to remove the headset covers, be careful with the screws or you're looking at a bit of a strip down.
2. Count every screw you do need to remove and pay attention to their size. - They can be confusing to an amatuer!!!
Bet Cheeky has heard a few stories like mine! |

in this age of digital cameras, take as many pictures as you can in case you get stuck you'll have photos to check back on
oh and keep the photos, you never know, you may need them in the future _________________
