Just been offered a shiney PM pipe for my GTS at a reasonable price but as I know nowt about them what should I look out for as it's second hand.....I read something about a gadget to reduce the noise....what's it look like?
Any info welocme good or bad......was not aiming to get one of these pipes but never say never Rolling Eyes

The baffle to reduce noise, bolts into the tailpipe.... youll see it easy enough.

Other than that theres nothing much to look for, make sure its got the bracket and isnt cracked anywhere....

I fitted one of these to mine,made ALL the difference Very Happy

Quite easy to "retro" fit Cool

Get yerself some new springs and make sure the header pipe section hasn`t worn to a piece of paper cos that`s wot appens when you dont change em` regularly.

so the springs go weak....allow movement.....creates wear......problem

good job you mentioned the springs as I've picked up the PM pipe last night and it looks the biz but the springs look naff and have not got the rubber sheath on so I might as well replace them before I fit it Wink

They dont come with rubber on the later ones... there only job is too hold tension on the 2 sections. Wink

well obviously the ones that come with the PM pipe, marked "PM Tuning" aren't as good as yours Laughing Laughing Laughing

I got my PM new in September had springs and rubber, both still ok after 2000 miles.. Cool
