I really feel we should do some sort of fund raising effort for this most worthy of causes, I was thinking about doing Land End 2 John o Groats sponsored, anyone else think this is a good idea?
Its the least we can do, count me in.

Deepest condolences maver.

I've got a good mate on tour out in Iraq and hold my breathe everytime they announce another death on the news in case it's him.

These guys truly do not get the respect they deserve for putting their lives on the line for this country.

my wife rang me and as soon as she said "you know Aaron who we send the packages to......." i instantly thought back to the news reports from monday and my heart sank, he was from my wife's side of the family, he was "our" soldier, the one we sent packages to, just little things our guys might be short of out there, stupid things like deodorant a new toothbrush, toothpaste and magazines, stuff we take for granted but can make all the difference far from home in a hostile environment.

the Land's end to john o'groats fund raising ride is a great idea.

I did this in 2006 on a T5 to raise money for Parkinsons which my dad had.
Hard work but VERY rewarding AND would be for a VERY good cause.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. More than a moment of silence will be observed...My brother in law is the army...it is a very hard thing to deal with.

Sad news indeed, I always hold our fighting men in the highest esteem, just wish our government did also.
