I`ve noticed on my new 300 i have a small pilot light that is always on on in the headlamp casing. This is even with the light switch set to off. Is there a way i can cancel this! _________________ http://www.piraterevival.co.uk/forum/images/pr_city.jpg |

As the headlight switch doesnt have an off position... the answer to this is a no.. all new machines should have lights on all the time under european regulations.. they are classed as DRL's. (Daytime Running Lights) |

Thanks Cheeky! Just thought i`d ask a daft moment question. I had another one about the fuel, as went to fill up recently and couldn`t tell if the tank was full. Carried on filling until i noticed it spilling all over the forecourt under the scoot. Think this one was answered somewhere else on the forum. _________________ http://www.piraterevival.co.uk/forum/images/pr_city.jpg |

hi Rob ! that tank overspill is really annoying isnt it, from the fuel light
coming on ! on my gts 300 £4.00 is a safe amount to put in and that allows me to judge the fuel consumption as well.
Merry xmas

overfilled tonight for the first time......at £3.95! that'll teach me for watching the pump....and forgetting that the price of fuel has come down. We clearly need more expensive fuel to get the £4 rule to work! |

Yea......unless you get one where the click don't work, like i did last year at Cleethorpes.
Anther tip is lift out the helmet box when filling to stop any overspill getting your waterproofs soaked in petrol. _________________
