I've just had my pc repaired from what looked liked some kind of virus, it knocked my wireless network out. Does anyone else get the popups from the main page and that bloody horrible beeping sound? _________________ Thanet Scooterist/Darkside. |

Used to.
If you're using Firefox as your browser, try download and install AbBlock Plus from the FireFox Add-ons page.
Works a treat and no more beeping adverts on the home page. |

The pop-ups shouldnt give you a virus unless you've clicked on one and visited that site. Even then its unlikely. Are you running an anti virus program?
Next question is, do you have children who use your PC unsupervised?
How do you know you have the virus? Is your PC playing up? _________________

I've had trouble with my wireless keyboard and mouse lately, even bought a new one and it's still the same Could be site, i'm not sure. Anyway Steve have a look at these chaps, you can even pay to go add free and only for four dollars a month. I'm moving our club board to these in the new year. The only thing i dislike is there are no new post flags but there are loads of other features that more than make up for it.

I also run a forum and use Active Board

Never had a problem with them, you get everything you want and it's highly customisable. |

Sometimes two windows pop up, one on top of the other. Don't be fooled. The inner one isn't, it is just a trap to get you to click on it when you try to close it. Close the outer, rear window to get rid of them.
