Went to Coniston [Lake District] from Blackpool, 10miles out, the GTs 250 cutout, rolled to a halt, wondering all sorts, but it started first go, off again then it did the same again, another scooterist noticed the lights had gone out as I was stopping, Electrical? Confused got to Coniston, checked the plug lead and any other connections I could see, all seemed secure, it did the same nonsence 20? times ish, Mad got me home, and all on 1 tank of petrol, Laughing but had that happened passing an Artic in the 3rd lane? Shocked Anyone any ideas? its done 3500miles since 1st March, so under warranty, but who wants their bike garaged at this time of year for god knows how long. Rolling Eyes

Certainly seems to have gone. The dealer had a couple that needed the CDI replacing.

Got the GTS back today, they said they couldnt find anything wrong with it on the diagnostic, but changed the plug anyway, no charge, as to be expected, this weekend will tell, got a feeling, but hey! Thrash it within an inch of its life, er, I mean give it a proper road test. Mentioned other owners problems, CDI etc, they were adamant, nowt up wi it. The back tyre is wearing fast, Sava! bikes only done 3200, from March, reckon warranty covers that? Nah probably not.
