Yeah its for the webserver fee's. People did say they wanted to contribute. So i created a gtsowners club paypal account.

am i being thick here? is this money for the new site or this one? it would be nice to have it explained in laymens terms what we are paying for? it would be better too if people know the expenses

The money will going towards the new forum and website. The cost of the server fees for a year is £49 for 200mb of space at the moment, this could go up if in due course we need more space. The domain name cost me £7 for 2 years which im not bothered about. But we do have to pay as i said for the server space.
No one is obliged to donate as its purely voluntary.
Hope this post makes some sense of it
At this point in time we have just over £15 in monies as paypal takes a small percentage.
I will give Innocenti & Mav the details of the account too so they can see what transactions take place.

49 pound for just 200 mb? Very expensive....
We using the servers here from one.com. Good and cheap. For 1.25 euro a month you have 3000 mb space.
