Whena Vespa top box is fitted , part of the kit are the handlebar ends which are heavier than those normally fitted. Does anyone why? I intend to fit a non vespa box on my GTV and wonder what the effect will be if I don't fit the extra weight??? Graham |

Trust me you will need to fit the extra weighed ends as I found out the hard way when I fitted my top box. At high speeds the whole scoot can suddenly start wobbling and become very dangerous and hairraising almost as if your having a front end blow out and is uncontrolable ......it is not an experience I'd like to repeat !!!!
Some one on here was making the heavier weights that might suit

I've fitted light alluminium and carbon fibre ones on my 300, with no top box though, and it has made no difference to my high speed handling. _________________ If ya wanna go fast buy a bike!

you need heavy ones made from steel then chromed or a set of stainless ones about 15oz each end will do the trick _________________ Darkside, Norwich Broadsmen SC
