has anybody got rid of their big daft air filter box and replaced it with an after market cone filter if so which one are you using

You are increasing the air flow therefore you need to increase the fuel. The Pm box allows you to do this and the Dyno set up is needed to get the air fuel ratio set correctly for the full throttle range.

Sccar you may well use an after market airfilter but you need to be aware that it may restrict air flow it does not always allow more air in, but either way to be sure dyno the bike and get the best air flow reading to be on the safe side. any decent dyno can get the standard box off ans a neat trick air filter on. just ring round where you live and go and see someone.

no not yet out last week end and this plus pm aint sent it to my m8 yet soon as they do will problery be a md weeker, he did my runner and my af 250, so heknows what he is on with.he keeps wanting to re map my pm plug n play but i wont let him yet.

do you or anybody know of a dyno tester in and around the manchester area?

Last time i messed with pm TFI I had to send it back to the factory for a re-set........Do you know what adjustments one needs to make once they add the KN filter?

no mate had to send mine back too first time i got it trying to get it better. it dont work that way
