I wanted to know if anyone knows where I can get a reflector for the GTS Top Case? Someone smashed the left one, on the left side of my top case and I want to replace it. There is no other damage, thus there is no need to replace the entire top case. If you can help, let me know.

Well what do you know, I needed a replacement top box reflector so rang a Piaggio dealer who told me Piaggio did not supply spare parts for top boxes, I rang another one, this time I was armed with the part number and bingo they ordered it straight away £4.50 for the pair!

Very handy to know as I have needed two in the past, one when I reversed the bike into my car wing mirror and one that just flew off at speed on the way to work, I like to think it must be like when the heat tiles come off the Space shuttle on re entry!

If you are replacing the "reflector" in the top box, make it into a real reflector by fitting some highly reflective tape behind it. The standard things are not reflectors, they are just decorations.

The bag fits perfectly into the footwell, and is attached via 4 strong clips to a bottom section that is itself strapped to the floor of the scoot by 2 more straps with clips.

I take the point about this not being as secure as a topbox, but I bought it for touring and work. It is quick release and has carry handles etc...

I'll try to post a couple of pics. It also straps to the seat if desired.

Well I must admit just got bag from the Southend Shakedown and I did get a fair amount of ribbin from scooter club mates along the lines of 'did anyone order a pizza' when I pulled up etc lol.

I had the top box on my old GT200 and although I know a lot of people hate the rear rack on that I could take the box off in a flash without even a srewdriver using a quick release D handle which was very handy for doing my commute and whipping the box off for a weekend scooter meet.

I know it's mad they don't actually reflect anything but I have gone one better or should I say the previous owner of the scooter Dougl65 from this forum did, rigging up brake lights behind the reflectors which look well cool and are of course a great safety feature.
