My GTS engine light is on - the scoot starts stops and goes along ok. Its on constant, even before starting - any clues? My dealer is awaiting the box of tricks to run the diags.
Its got the pm module and a scorpion exhaust and has done 12k miles.  |

check the lamba senser on exhaust downpipe is tight and connection to loom is good.
check scorpion for cracks/leaks.
 
really needs to be plugged in to diagnostics to find fault
if it's a terminal thing the system will shut the engine down and protect it before it goes bang so i've been told by a reputable source......

ahhhhh...thats the second scorp ive seen cracked there and everone slags off pms for breaking

my scorpion has got more cracks than a ten storey whorehouse 
as far as i'm aware it's the 2 stroke mild steel PM's that have a habit of cracking, if i could afford a PM for my GTs i'd have one tommorrow

just get to any dealer let them plug the computer in instead of waiting for your one all good dealers should carry the diagnostic comp to do it

I popped into scooterden in hackney and they plugged it in. its the lamda sensor - £104 plus labour.
I tested the connections and the problem is still there. I have a pm pipe on my Et4 but I take it out every now and then.. In london you wont get away with illegal pipes.
i'm doing the knowledge to have to have a clean licence as well!! |
