The trip meter on me GTS has just reset itself at around 400 miles.
Has anyone else come across this? _________________ And behold I was saved. |

You think that's bad? My Jetta's odometer (not trip meter) reset itself to 0 at 300,000 km. Now I have a 1998 car with 6000 km!

Ok thanks.
I thought there was a problem, but it's obviously just them bloody Italians trying to impose some sort of new counting system on us

I had a Yamaha Maxster which did a similar thing. I hadn't rode it for a while, tried starting it until the battery went flat and then noticed the odometer changed from 1500 miles to 10000 ! Try explaining that to a buyer with a bike in mint condition. I had to do a trade in with a dealer in the end. I will keep the GTS hooked up to a battery optimate later. |

yeah but......
the the GTs tripmeter resets it's self to zero after 400 miles, the odometer keeps counting on and on and on and on...............
you can toggle from trip to odometer by pressing one of the little rubber buttons on the dash _________________
