Well ny GTSie now has a PM pipe as well as the Polini variator. I love the performance and the noise!
What is tiring is the continual popping and farting from the PM on the overrum. It wa amusing for the first two days but now it's just plain irritating!
PM say the casuse is the Vespa's efi being set very lean... and they recommend their TFI black box, so rather than spend the money on a Leo Vince 4road, I have ordered their TFI....
I hope it's worth it!!! |

Almost is good!!!
Since I have changed the variator to the Polini and put on the PM pipe my mpg seems to have dropped from about 75 to 60, probably because I am more prone to riding it like I stole it!!
Who else has the PM black box or similar??? |

What do you think of it Phil?
Did you use the original PM settings or have you altered the fuelliing?
Mine should arrive tomorrow as my card seems to have been charged! |

dyno man said the box was set very rich

he said every bikes different even two identical ones
working on ten thousand pound bikes i dont doubt him |

My GT has a PM, and I find the popping is worst when the scoot has not yet warmed up.
But it usually happens when I snap the throttle shut. Closing it more gently, or not completely, almost eliminates the popping.
