I was riding at 30 mph, went over a man hole cover and the engine cut out, as if I had flicked the emergency engine cut out switch (which I hadn't!). Would not start again though lights and instrument panel all working. Still garaged after 5 days with no progress, still as if cut out switch was off. Any ideas as garage clueless. |

Check the spark plug lead is still attached to the plug. I have had this come loose twice on my GT, and now carry a spare end-of-lead plug attachment.

Many thanks - ignition totally dead though, no starter motor, just complete silence. |

I had the same, it was the ignition. It was replaced by the garage under the warranty. No problems since. |
