Has anyone tried this pipe yet? I'm on my second Scorp tailpipe, and now need a third. Really fancy the look of this new pipe, and it seems to be quite successful on a full range of other bikes. If anyone else can give positive feedback, then this is my Christmas present. _________________ C'mon the Hoops! |

Steve,
it's quite a bit quieter than the PM on acceleration but still characterful and much noisier than the stock pipe.
It's not as nicely made as the PM, but does look good. It gets a lot hotter than the Pm and I'm hoping this doesn't affect its longevity. I am chuffed with it though. |

Kam,
where did you buy the pipe, and for how much? Did you fit it yourself? I presume also that the downpipe is proper gts (lamda sensor thingy)?
Also, any other mods required? I've got the scorp on just now, but it's a bag of s**te. _________________ C'mon the Hoops! |

i got it from the VE website and it was about £240 inc vat and delivery. The package arrived without the necessary clamps but my dealer fitted it for £20 . It's purpose made for the GTS and goes really well. When fitted it is VERY close to the water pump - possibly touching it. I'm hoping this won't be a problem in the long term. I checked the photos on the Leo Vince website and the pipe shown fits the same so I'll try not to worry. Had a 50 mile brisk ride 2 up yesterday with no problems. I really like it. |
