Just a quick qestion, Who's got what and how are you getting on with them?
Are you running them for performance (sticky ones) or Mileage ?

I'm running Mitch Pilot sports but I am thinking about trying something else, hence the question. Find the pilots very good appart from two things, they don't seem to like white lines very much cos when you cross one the want to get off it sooner than you do (you soon get used to it though). The main problem is the wear rate, if you do a few miles it seems that your changing them every five minutes, well arround 2k.
I am thinking of trying either Metzler, pirrelli or Conti twists. Any thoughts.

My GTS came with the bloody SAVA's that I will replace soon....
with the Bridgestone Molas ML50(see bellow)

They are THE BEST for any condition and specialy wet..

With its comprehensive size range (10 to 13 inch), the ML50 is Bridgestone's core scooter line for quality-conscious end users. The ML50 provides fine dry grip, excellent wet performance, riding comfort and long life, which has made it one of the most popular replacement scooter tyres.

Conti twists, front and rear, brilliant all-rounder.

Mileage - done about 1000 so far on rear, and judging by the tiny amount of wear, it looks like it'll be good for another 2000.

I think that's just white lines in general. I notice white line more now I'm on small scooter wheels.

Pilot City might be a bit lomger lasting than the soft sport tyres.

I've just order some Pilot sports because I don't like the Sava's and I don't think they'll cope with the massive acceleration jump once I get my variator fitted. Wink

Apart from today is been raining for the past 4 days now...
plus if you ride to North Greece weather conditions are...not the best..

Even if is not raining here in Greece is always and I say ALWAYS some old lady cleaning her patio and garden and streets can be full of water with mud...long stories and too many wet streets, summer time as well

Fitted my Pilot Sports and the bike already handles much better . They're not even bedded in yet so I've got a good feeling about them already.
