Your spot on chap...
You need a chipped key thats left blank, you then code it yourself with the bike. |

the way i read it ian you need a key that has a chip in in but do not get it cloned at the key cutters, take it home and use the master key to get the chip recognized by the scooter brain. _________________

As Cheeky says, just get a blank key with a chip in it, cut to match your scooter's other keys. You can then programme it yourself by using the master key. This should be quite cheap, ( I had one done for a car yesterday at a cost of £4.99 ). I'ts when they want to programme it for you that the price increases to around £30. I had my blue slave key cut and cloned by a locksmith, but again as Cheeky says, do not get your red/brown key cloned. Buy the chipped key and programme it yourself. Post again if you're not sure, that's what we're all here for. |

This is now doing my head in
Found a second locksmiths today gave them a call to ask how much .....£25...I told them exactly what you guys have said and they said it's £25 if they coded it or not!!! I give up
It greaves me to pay this much when I can bet that they'll still mess it up so can anyone tell me where I can buy a cheap blank chipped key that will do and I'll take it in and ask them to just cut it

Im in the same position as Ian. I do have the card however. Any chance you could get a key cut for me if i send you the money. This all seems a little confusing. I do have the BRown/Red key.
