genuine variator tool we bought the other month
i rounded the nut off on mine ,still cant get it off
smirnoff took a chunk out of his engine casing
only joking tool works great, lot of money but ,to hear that torque wrench click is music to my ears .makes you wonder just how tight we were doing that nut up with the impact gun |

Andy,
smirnoff and me did the belt, variator and rollers
its just over a gram difference between reds and yellows i think
no real difference out on the road
i changed mine a week before we did Daz's
so i would definatly thing about changing the rollers
the lighter ones will wear alot quicker than the heavier ones
my last malossi belt wore very quickly compared to the standard one
its up to you
are you having the recall manifold or a noisy exhaust?
hope its the exhaust
me n smirnoff always wanted to get our hands on that scooter
to customise it just a little
but anorak Daz wouldnt have any of it
please , do loads to it |

Phill
its having the recall done as i can't afford a pm ,
if i sell my runner i will have some money to make it mine ,
or put a gts lump in my triumph tigress,
will go with the malossi belt as i have one and will see what rollers i can get, what was the problem with the malossi belt?
looks like i should ask on here before i buy anything again

dont know really
just never felt happy with it
you know when you get a feeling about something
it had worn really quickly ,got the tape measure out and compared it to the two thousand mile one i had as a spare
try it ,you might find its ok |

Andy,
im gonna have to change my mallosi belt soon as lost a bit of top end im sure when its out it will be like phil said i have another new set of half red/yellow rollers in the shed if your short to make up a set im using the Dr pulley weights and so far have been very impressed as the material in them should last longer than standard rollers wont know till i have a look in bit when i get time to get side cover off
as for variator tool you will become GOD if you can knock them out m8 _________________ GTS OWNERS CLUB

i've never used a malossi belt so can't comment on them all i can say is that i had my belt changed at 6000 miles because i felt it was about time, it has some sign of wear but i'd fit it back on in an emergency no problem, in it's place i had a genuine std piaggio belt fitted along with std genuine rollers. _________________
