Hi,

Jeroen here from Dutchlions S.C. for a bit more information.

Rotterdam Run 2008 will be on june 6-8 in Heerjansdam, only 15 Kms from Rotterdam city-center.

Heerjansdam is 45 Kms from Hoek van Holland ferry (Stenaline) and 40 Kms from Europoort ferry (P & O Ferries).

Entrancefee is 20 Euros including BBQ, rallypatch, normal priced Heineken lager, ride-out on the saturday-afternoon. Swimming pool (not included) at 200 meters.

stenaline goes from Harwich to Hook of Holland

P&O goes from hull to rotterdam europort

best i can find stenaline going harwich - hook of holland return £103

apparently you have to have a cabin on the outbound journey at £20 and a seat onthe return journey at £11 Rolling Eyes

can't see a way of booking 4 people with 4 scooters and sharing a 4 berth cabin which would probably work out a bit cheaper......

I'm gonna stick to France but I rode up past this area in Holland following the first Darskide rally and it only took a few hours from belgium so why not go via calais dover and enjoy the ride and save yourself a fortune on ferries???

just what i was thinking, it's only 200miles from calais to rotterdam so that's about £14 by GTs.

door to door for me in kings lynn to the rally in rotterdam going via calais it's 400 miles and easily do-able with a nice rest on the ferry Cool

and not thinking of doing holland instead of france but doing it as well, i mean the uk rally list is a little stale, a year off doing foriegn stuff will probably get my enthusiasm back for the uk gigs again in 2009.....
