i need a new one Embarassed

my m8 borrowed mine to make some trial stainless brackets.......

turned up with the brackets today but no GB plate........ Twisted Evil

what could i say????

need to drill, fine tune, brackets and if they are ok i'll be knocking them out at £5 each.....expensive i know but they're welded stainless, (copy them by all means will save me the hassle of getting them made and posting them out Wink )

andy.........can you do me a new one in gold norwich broadsmen stylee p-l-e-a-s-e Embarassed

would've thought the double sided tape on the airbox method is fairly doomed m8.......

leader and quasar engines are really similar.......

wait for a bracket, rivet the plate to the bracket (tiny rivets) then bolt to the bottom suspension mount......

we can always swap at modra

don't get too excited about these brackets.........

it's just 2 pieces of stainless welded together to form a "T" shape......

i felt a "T" shaped bracket would be better than an "L" shaped bracket as it should suffer less from vibration and the ensuing snappage i've experienced with "L" shaped brackets i've used in the past. obviously i've still got to drill it to fit the mounting point in the unused shock mount hole here......

it will also need a couple of small holes to rivet the GB plate on and the odd radius here and there to tidy it up.

it may be shit & may not be the answer, if you can make one yourselves feel free, i won't be offended, it'll save me the hassle and postage Laughing

your airbox is hidden away. mines just massive so may restrict the bracket or whether you can see the plate or not
