|
|
Some time ago I purchased a Buzzetti variator holding tool thinking it would work on my GT 125 but it turned out to be only suitable for the ET4 model. It's the rectangular version with a pin on one end and a hole in the other with a serrated middle (sorry, but I can't post links yet).
Recently however, I noticed the vendor now describes the item stating it will fit LX and GT models "with some modification."
Has anyone used this tool on their GT and if yes, what did they modify to make it work?
Thanks. _________________ '05 GT 125L |

I use one of these, well one off a gilera runner which I think is the same. It does not really clamp tightly but if you put a bolt in the top and hold it tight on the teeth with one hand and use the torque wrench with the other it is no bother. It's a bit hard to describe but I have never had any trouble doing it like this and I do torque to spec. |
