Hi could any one tell me if the biturbo shocks are worth putting on my gts in particular the front one and how are they compared to the standard shocks and if so would it effect my warranty as the scoot is only a month old....also could any one advise if there are better shocks available.. Question

I am also wondering about fiting a Bitubo to the front of my GT.

My old PX had Bitubos front and back, and Claussstudios polyurethane bushes, and the result was beautiful handling - much better than my GT!

But the comments I have seen on this forum are very varied. I have generally been disdappointed with the performance mods I have fitted (except the J.Costa variator), so I will not fit Bitubos without a lot more encouragement.

Mike

Yeah...mixed view on these shocks some say for the money its not really worth it, but mike i'm sure i read on modern vespa forum that the gt front shock is different from the gts and they reckon on fitting a gts shock on a gt as the gts shock is better ??

I would'nt bother with Biturbos on the rear, Too dear, just uprate the springs from SP4U (as Steve says) On the front there is a difference though, better feel and a firmer setting helps with cornering no end, once you have em dialed in, the big downfall with them though is that they rust very quickly and the red paint peels too so if you live in good old Blighty then beware, if you are one of those lucky B**TARDS who live in a warm dry climate Crying or Very sad then go for it. Also SP4U do an uprated front spring, Buddy phil has one........Whats it like Phil?
