got me some jettin bar ends and managed to round off the allen bolt in the original piaggio one so cant put them on
tried a larger allen key but just made a bigger rounded off hole
any tips for removal?

I GOT A FIRM GRIP ON THE ACTUAL BAR END....AND UNDID LIKE THAT AFTER A BIT OF STRUGGLING AND STRAINING.... _________________

i got me leather glove on and struggled mate but it gave way after a bit...i didnt lube tho....prob be easier if you do _________________

I have had people tell me this all the time. The thing to do is drill the head off of it. and then pull the barend off and you can grab the rest of the bolt with visegrips and twist it out. |

That sucks. If you can heat the bolt it will loosen the locktite or rust grip from the old bolt. Once the old hardware is removed you
re going to love the new Jettin ones. They come with a stronger bolt then the stock ones so be sure to use them.
