Well there is plenty going on this year to wet your appetites here is another I'm definately doing, been the past few years and had a right laugh 
The Northern Soul SC is proud to present the
Beatsugar Run # 5
26th/27th/28th and 29th of june 2008 in AMIENS
( Northern France) .
4 days !!!yes 4 days for our 5 the Anniversary !!!!
3 All nighters with top dj's.
Cheap beers ( 2€ a pint). ride out . fun games . custom show . stalls
( traders welcome (free pass for them) ) a patch.. and more to tbc .
free aperitifs and breakfasts... . quality food available on site ...
Saturday eve : Massive BBQ ( various of meats, salads, wine ..)
camping on site . hotels/shops/services close to the site..100 miles off the Calais ferry following the A 16 motorway.

Trust Me on this one......
When you have a wife and a house full of kids you will be more than happy to save up and get away from them as often as possible.......

Yep, my mate went to this last year on his way back from Euro Lambretta, or Vespa, one or tuther, said it was one of the best, so Im going this year.

You won't regret it Piko and his gang put on a top rally and the venue is perfect for camping and having a party
dont forget if you are going to look me up to have a beer or two...you can't miss me I'm the fattest bastrd there!!

Im going to this one, went two years ago and had a right laugh! recomend to everyone and its far cheaper than going to the peacock festival that is the isle of wight!!

Im looking for alternatives to IOW, thought about Mersea instead. I seem to spend fortunes at IOW, and its just pubs mostly, plus digs are pricey on the island. We used to stay at a Holiday Park but its closed now.

Was it called Harcourt Sands because that is were we used to stop, we stayed here last year http://www.park-resorts.com/park.asp?id=8 {Nodes Point} and have booked for this year as well , loads of scooters there mainly northern clubs and most were booking as they left for this year.
