Just a quick question for you all:
What spares do you take with you when going on a rally on an auto?
All I've got on my list so far is :
1. fully charged Mobile
2. Carol Nash breakdown card
3. Can of redbull - good to drink and can fix exhaust
4. Silicon sealant
5. packet of fags and a lighter |

i've been putting alot of thought into this lately and basicly will carry a fairly minimal tool kit to do the usual fixes, not carry stuff you don't need (seems obvious but folks still carry spanners that don't fit a single bolt on the scoot just because they're in the spanner set )
i'll carry a spare belt, rollers, and will carry a variator holder when i can buy one for the GTs but i'll let the AA man bring the torque wrench, i will have all the torque settings on a laminated card as well.
basicly the AA man has the tools, i'll have the spares, the info and the tools he WON'T have
also i'll carry a punture plug kit with air canisters AS WELL as having ultraseal in the tyres
i'm going to get a spare lever as well, i'd hate to snap a lever and only have one brake
AND some high temp sealant for the PM pipe and some loctite, and zip ties.....
is there stuff we HAVE to carry in franceland like a warning triangle? spare bulbs? smoking jacket? _________________
