tried taking front screen off today. how do the stems come out of headset tried and tried but to no avail. please help!

undo the hexagon nut (17mm spaner on mine) then the stems should tap out as they are a expanding collet type thing that fits in a tube on the bars

try giving the stems a tap with a rubber mallet or simmilar, they work on expansion as you tighten them so may need a shock to get them to retract, obviously be careful Wink

it depends what screen it is, the faco ones are totally different to the piaggio ones.
