Just wondering what the symptoms are? It's all irrelevant anyway as I managed to sell bits of stuff here and there and a shiney new exhaust will shortly be winging it's way to me....aaaaaahhhhh!

They normally stop Meowwwing
You wont notice any effects from catalyst failure and as bikes dont get emission tested at mot time it doesnt matter...
... what you dont want is the catalyst welds breaking and allowing the cat to rattle about inside the exhaust, as it can block the gas flow and make the bike die and cut out.
So whenever you take exhausts off for tyre changing etc, always give it a shake |
