Theres only 1 for me, Gingers, probably the largest amount of scooters apart from the IOW, there going to attempt the record again for a rideout, if its properly policed as in the past, I cant see why the IOW record cant be beaten, plus the night do is a blast! _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! I did Ginger's egg run last year, and there was no Police escort. It was chaos. Hope there's an escort this year. A GTS is ideal for this run, as many of the geared scoots suffer from clutch failure. Even so, the cooling fan on my GTS was almost permanently on, being amongst so many slow moving scoots. |

Yep Jetex, same with mine last year, but allegedly this year its all sorted and there going for the record for scooters moving on a measured section of road, like IOW last year. cant see that working without a proper escort! also Ive heard this years egg run MAY be the last, as the logistics etc are becoming a nightmare, I could be wrong and hope what Ive been told is bollox, but I guess we will see. _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! Sorry to say I wimped out of this years egg run due to the weather, and the fact that I'm trying to re-decorate my front room. I work shifts, so if I don't get a bit done, it's another week before I can try again = wife not happy! This year's egg run definitely the last, as the hospital is closing down. A lot of discussion about it on Vespa.org.uk. |

Ginger and Caroline anounced over the mike last night, that this was the last official egg run but stressed they would still continue doing whatever they could for the kids, rideout and having a night do! which by the way was ace! I briefly spoke to a couple of lads from Norwich on the rideout, both 4strokers but didnt find them again to speak to, bugger! who were they? I think one of em said he posted on here? definately more 4 strokes there again, Gt Gts etc. Never ridden that slowly on the rideout before though, political? or just keeping everyone together I dunno? _________________ GTS250 its the future!!!
