Wouldn't start without sitting for ten minutes trying to get the bendix to engage (think that's the right term). Got that fixed, then...
A colleague reverses into the beast and knocks her over resulting is scratches, scrapes, dents and cracks.
A couple of weeks later and I'm heading round a roundabout and the fuel pump falls off and ends up bouncing down the road next to me. fuel lines still attached, electrical lead unattached. Reattached and gaffa taped the lot to the side of the scooter. Got that fixed the next day, didn't replace the pump.
Next day, arrive at work and the thing is making a horrible rattling at idle, dissappears when revved. Couldn't arrange to get it to a workshop that day so rode home with no problems.
This morning, bike won't start, turns over fine and sounds like a fuelling problem according to the guy that took it on the back of his truck.
Awaiting a phone call to let me know what's gone wrong.
My GTS125 was 'great', now it's been demoted to 'alright'. Not inspiring confidence for my trip through northern france in the summer (
What else should I expect to fall off?! |
