as i've said before, everyone on here who is having probs with their scorpion pipe is due to it being the old single strap version which is flawed, as is the gasket.
as i have the new gasketless 2 strap redesigned pipe, i have had no problems whatsoever and look forward to the future of my GTS with confidence

what gasket?? no gasket on original single strap scorpion......... do you mean std pipe???
and as for the extra strap (on  )...... think about it, when the pipe gets hot it needs to expand (and it does get HOT, look at the downpipe colour, 500deg C judging by the colour  ) when it expands it moves, or tries to at least only now it has 2 straps holding it tight as well as the clamp, put a mark next to the strap when it's cold and see if the mark has moved when you've been out for a good ride
PM uses expansion joint and springs

sure you didnt go in the scorpion workshop while your bike was being serviced and got the sales pitch

all gone pete tong,
dropted scoot and dented the legshields and broke the tool box clips  ,
went to replace the spark plug and the ht lead has come away from the cap , managed to screw the cap back on so thats ok now, might have been why it was cutting out
