Hi on way back from llandudno noticed my exhaust was getting louder, when i got home discovered it was blowing from manifold, took it off and it looks like the fibre seal had crumbled can i get a new one cheers

How old is the scooter? there was a recall done on the exhausts due to a fault in them.....I would suggest you ask your local dealer first Wink

its jan 07 i have had it since dec only done 1700 miles in total, the recall was carried out and it is def blowing from where the exhaust fitts onto the down pipe, also the previous owner did not extend the warranty !! too tight to part with £30

the part that was fited on the recall may still be under warrenty, if it's blown it may not have been fitted correctly in the first place Wink

got to be worth a go Cool

if not that gasket is only about £12 carefull fitting required as they're quite delicate.

Youve got more hope of flying to the moon on a pigs back than get a exhaust gasket under warranty... classed as service items as must be replaced everytime exhaust is removed.. ie every service.
