Thanks for the warm welcome!
Sorry about the confusion about Mother's Day. Unfortunately, being on the other side of the pond, we celebrate it a bit later.
I ended up calling roadside assistance and had my GTS flat bedded back to the shop. I topped off the coolant, pulled the dipstick to ensure that there was no coolant in the oil. I even disconnected and reconnected the battery in an attempt to rest the possible fault. I must have a bad temp sensor or something because it acts as though it is boiling over even starting it cold (rad fan kicks in straight away, and the temp gauge blinks at me).
what a sight though, they sent over the biggest flatbed truck I had ever seen! My GTS looked like a toy sitting atop that big truck. LOL
I wish I had my camera with me. I hope it is an easy and quick fix.

I agree, sounds like a temp sensor fault. Let us know the outcome. |

Any suggestions on what kind of coolant/mix I should use to top off the tank on the 250 GTSie?
Thanks in advance!

quick search turned up this
Quote: | When is mothers day? Mother's Day in the UK falls on Sunday 2nd March 2008 - Mother's Day in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most other countries falls on Sunday 11th of May 2008

Yeah I know, it was a poor attempt at sarcasm, I thought the yank would've been the one not to get that _________________
