if the engine brain decides you shouldn't run the engine it won't let you.
having said that get the scoot plugged in and the fault codes corrected as soon as possible _________________

Something is out of tolerance...
Could be temperature, battery charge rate, oxygen sensor in the exhaust etc etc... get it on a machine and checked... something cheap now could end up expensive in very little time. |

run it up to full temp and it may come back on again...
wiring problem as on mine
came back 1000 miles later and was flickering on over bumps left it running and lifted seat removed bucke and moved loom around about 3inches from ecu/injector unit and found new break there. phoned up 4 yes 4 dealers local said wiring problem and all said couldnt look at it for 4-5 weeks. i got so pissed off i cut the fucking thing open and fixed it myself. oh and the temp sensor was full of anti freeze/coolant so cleaned out and been okay since. dealer customer service in bristol area is shit
hope you dont have same bother but will give you some areas to look at when dealer hasnt got a clue....

Although the light is not on now, the original fault may still be stored in the ECU. Get it plugged in to the diagnostic scanner when you can, as this may tell you what the original fault was, and will also re-set the ECU. |
