just read this on sbw forum.....
Apparently the local plod are putting up a static number plate recognition camera on the road in to catch untaxed vehicles.
I'm sure this doesn't apply to anyone on here but pass the word on please? _________________

That may be an ANPR (Automatic numberplate recognition) car/van.
It'll get uninsured vehicles too. Not that anyone on here would ride without insurance....
By the way, E-bike does not show up on the Police National Computer, as they're based in Gibraltar. So it may be worth taking your certificate with you, as Scottish Police are different to English and Welsh.
If you get a producer in Scotland - you'll have to go back to Scotland to produce the certificate. _________________

Looks like I'm going to be lucky to make this one. Took the GTS in for service last Thursday, and they've just told me they don't have a drivebelt in stock, and my rollers are square. It's getting a bit close, I think it might have to be skeggy instead. _________________

A1 wasn't much better - I was overtaking a lorry and just as I stuck my nose in front the wind caught me and nearly slammed me into the central reservation!
Took me about five minutes to get the GTs back in to the nearside lane - by which time my pants were well and truly soiled and my knuckles whiter than a white thing! |
