This is a bit of a shameless plug for an event on my doorstep, at Rutland water. There's going to be music, food, bar and ridden custom show with a 'best auto' class.

It's all in aid of the East Midlands Air Ambulance, and any money made on the day will be donated to this worthy cause.

Last year we had 200 scooters turn up and create havoc in sleepy Oakham. It'd be nice to double that this year.

It'd be nice to see a few Auto's turn up, and some in the custom show, as I've worked hard and had a few arguements in order to secure a best auto class.

So if anyone fancies a this on a Sunday afternoon, we're meeting at the Welby Pub on Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray to leave at noon. There are postcodes for SatNav on the link above.

Alternatively, meet us at Rutland Water!

well i will try again this year boiled my runner on a46 with cobby. i went home with my tail between my legs. cobby met up with the newark lads and had a great day. so this year i am going on one of my lammys but i did not make skegg this week end i am having a shite year up too now. so if i get there it will be a bonus.

It was a good day today, Muchos Gracias to Phil (Smirnoff) and BuddyPhil for their help in guiding the rideout through Melton and Oakham.

Fortunately the weather held up. Thanks to anyone from here who came along and kept the GTS end up! Cool

We had a great ride back,ride up was a bit of a nightmare, 14 of us from northampton,didn't meet any of you lot there tho,maybe we should all wear a red carnation? Laughing

Glad you had a good ride back. I was the one walking around in the high viz vest and dainese leather, trying to flog the event patches!
