put a 210 kit on over the week end, went to fire it up which it did once then died so, i checked the cam timing which was ok then i noticed coolant coming from the exhaust port, what i neeed to know is if the head was warped would this cause coolant to enter the combustion chamber, also any other ideas what it could be would be apriciated, everything was tightened down correctly

luckely i have a pk125 to use for work and im not going to do any work on it untill the weekend

Yes if the head was warped coolant could leak into the cylinder.

Does the oil look like waters getting into it as well?

Did you remember to rotate the engine a few times by hand before rechecking the timing to ensure it was set right and the tensioner position wasnt giving a false reading?

Did you lube the piston and bits when fitting so nothing was metal to metal? If so it could be the plug just got covered in a little bit of excess oil...

IF YOUR SURE THE ENGINE TIMING IS RIGHT, then whip the plug out, make sure the cap is well away from the plug hole and turn the engine over a few times while holding the throttle open,

Then clean the plug refit and see if he burbles back to life.

im going to take the head into work and lapp it just to be safe i did the same with the barrel, did lube the the gudgen pin and barrel a little bit but not excesive, i lined the arrow on the flywheel and the 4 mark on the sprocket in the head with there respective marks, and turned it over about 6 times and they still line up so im asseming they are all right

just realised something, over the past 3 months, before putting the 210 kit on, my scooter was loosing water from somewhere, i cheacked all the pipes but nothing was loose maybe it was comeing from the head gasket?
sometimes it would take ages to start or nearly flaten the battary in the process

Mmm could be... but i doubt the heads that warped to be honest.

And as youve just had a new head gasket it shouldve fixed a gasket issue???

Normally they loose pressure from the rad caps as it was a known issue, the old caps were found to be "under pressuring" the system allowing the water to get too hot, start to boil and vent steam from the cap slightly, after time this gave a low water level.

Old caps were 0.90 Bar, new ones are 1.1 bar....

Already got the new cap on then, bonus!

What was the problem, or did it just need a little tweaking...
