It's a no for me as i got the keys to the new House Friday which needs a bit of work doing on it which means all spare cash will be spent on that , so no more National rallies till the IOW for me but will try and do as much localish stuff as possible _________________ Whats a Clutch !!!! |

It only took me 2 and a half hours to get up there. Shame it took me 8 and a half hours to get back.
The threads from the HT cap and spark plug parted company, and nothing would keep them together. Phil (Smirnoff) bunged it up with silver paper, which worked for a good 30 miles. Then it did it again outside Doncaster.
Called out the RAC (Rent a Clown) and they bunged it up with some copper wire. Lasted about 8 miles. What sort of 'Rescue' service doesn't carry a HT cap?!
So I'm nominating myself for Bodge of the Month. Wire coathanger I found at the side of the road - around the HT cap, then around the engine and twisted it tight. It held it for the 65 miles left of the journey!
Apart from that, it was a good weekend! _________________
