phil wot was wrong the the normal brakes???????

are they not up to the job of stopping you, mine seem very good

what is the caliper off

It means you can brake harder and later, gives you more confidence in the braking system. Me and Phil have both experienced 'brake fade' on a couple of occassions, and on these occassions, the standard brake setup wasn't adequate.

The caliper is standard fit on Ducati 916, 748, Monsters and on KTM Dukes and Husabergs.

i've had that like, braking liek a crazy bitch and it just won't stop with the lever pulled right back to the bars Shocked

The standard pads dont help either, half a whiff of heat and they fade like crazy... decent sintered set help no end. Wink

Agreed, the sintered ones are no end better but still not a patch on the four pot monster caliper Laughing Laughing Laughing
