That's your problem then pal. It's like sticking a 180 kit on a PX125 and not changing the main jet.
There's only enough fuel being put in to get the bike upto 60. You need a larger main jet. Someone else on here may be able to tell you what size that is.
It might help using a free flowing air filter too. _________________

it not carb you dont need to upjet
its down to rollers you want to run about 11 gram rollers
this is my setup
polini 210
polini gear up
pm pipe
pm clutch bell
polini belt
std carb std jets with airbox
and i blocked the sas valve in the flywheel cover to richen the mixture up a bit
you only need a open filter with the malossi 34mm carb kit
this does 80 on std rollersi am putting a polini variator on tomorrow with 11 gram rollers as recomended by pm tuning should be good for 90ish mph _________________ POGUE MAHONE SC

I was talking to Gaz at Rev and Go a little while ago, who had a runner 210. He said that he upjetted his runner when he fitted the 210 kit? _________________

Yeah it will need a upjet to some degree, its had a 68% increase in bore capacity, its impossible for the standard main jet to fuel a 125cc engine correct, and then also fuel a 210cc engine the same... it wont need much, maybe 5%-10%
Upjet and try slightly lighter rollers.... then maybe slightly stiffer clutch springs, but do the upjet and rollers too. |

Blocking the SAS wont make much difference to fueling of the engine, its more related to weaking off the exhaust gases after the burning process to meet euro emissions...
... but anyway back to the point.... i would seriously get it jetted a little, its gonna be lean, and wont be helping power at all... your best to get it done on a dyno if possible, but if not basic setting up on the road will do. |

Its impossible to say what size jets it needs, theres no golden number... the engine needs as much fuel as it needs, its a complete variable
When i derestrict bikes and upjet them, i can do one and need a 60 jet, but the next will need a 68, even though both are the same make, model and age...
If you dont get it done a rolling road, so they can see what it needs, you have to take a educated guess from how it rides, go too big so it doesnt do damage, and then work down with a selection of jets until its perfect...
Until its jetted right clutch springs should be ignored, you need the engine to be running right before you worry about gearing changes... |
