They are good to view the status of the machine, but they dont have the function to remove fault codes, or remap the machines etc so its more of a gadget then a great tool...

It does say on there, that it will "fix error codes ". It is my understanding that from 2007, all motorcycles have to be EOBD compliant, although the GTS does'nt have the standard 16 pin connector that cars have, otherwise I might have been able to use my scan tool. Looks like they have to be compliant, but can use their own systems. Cheeky - do different makes of bike have different diagnostic sockets ?

Yes they will only allow an entire memory wipe of faults, you cant do it individually or access the main ECU information, they meet the EOBD legal requirements which is purely emission related information.

Theres about 3 different connectors used on bikes... so not many.
