my rollers are only lasting me about 2k,, belts not much more Shocked Sad

Shite! Ive done 7500mls on my GTS without touching the rollers or belt, its a bit slower than my mate Andys {who is also a couple of stone lighter} is it the problem?

In the Scootering article on GTS aftermarket varators was there not an issue with using Malossi belts with polini varators, ie they rub on the engine casing??

The belts should be done at 10k miles and rollers n guides at 6k mls on the GTS250 , my mate and i ave just gone halves on the piaggio workshop tools to do the job. It cost us £55 each but we will quickly recover our money by not having to use the local sh-t dealer who charges £120 for a basic service.
