Hello folks
Have not even got the GTS yet and I've already asked a million questions!
I really like the photo with the GTS with white tyre paint on the writting.
I'm thinking about trying RED tyre paint on the writting, it will either look well smart or look cheap and nasty!
Has anyone ever tried it and whats your opinion WHITE or RED???
O and if RED can you recomend a quality pen?

Yes red tyre paint is available from e bay and quite a few british websites. One site I came across pretty much has every colour of tyre paint in the rainbow, and silver and gold! _________________ GTS 300 is here and I LOVE IT!!!

What about this folks,......... I have always used just plain old TIP-EX , or as I believe they call it "white-out" in the USA .
This image is my standard Sava tyre , with a little bit of white , not too much to be tacky.
but enough to be a little uplifting for the general sporty apearance of the vespa !!
Its handy cause the TIP-EX is so cheap and comes in the form of the bottle and delicate brush to apply.
This image is showing the tyre after 4 months with the white applied to the tyre. It took 3 or 4 minutes , and just bothered with the front wheel as the back is a bit more hassle, and is quite hidden anyway.[/url] _________________

yeah do it! do it! go red... by the way, i'm so tight about paying for postage and packing, I just parked my little moped up at my nearest motorcycle shop (they all have this sort of stuff), thus keeping my total outlay to a respactable £4.99 on something that I could well be swearing about later that evening! . By the way I chose a very classy shade of silver _________________ there's nothing here to make me sound cool or interesting |
